STATUS: OPENOn May 19, 2017 at approximately 3:20 am, the Knoxville Police Department responded to a shooting at 1100 Chickamauga Avenue. Responding officers found Shanna Harmon, unconscious, lying in the street suffering from a gunshot wound. Shanna was transported to UT Medical Center for treatment where she died a few short hours later.
At the young age of 28, Shanna passed away leaving behind grieving parents and sister who are still searching for answers and a resolution in their daughter's murder.
