For four successful years, the East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers has proudly hosted its annual "Clays Against Crime" Sporting Clays Tournament Fundraiser, transforming a day of exhilarating sport into a powerful force for good in our communities. Participants consistently enjoy a challenging and engaging sporting clays experience, often referred to as "golf with a shotgun," as they navigate various stations, shooting at clay targets mimicking the flight patterns of game birds. The atmosphere is always one of camaraderie, friendly competition, and pure enjoyment, proving unequivocally that making a profound difference can indeed be a lot of fun!

Each year, the vital funds raised through this crucial tournament directly support the East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers' core mission. East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers plays an essential role in assisting local law enforcement by providing an anonymous tip line and offering cash rewards for information that leads to arrests, the issuance of warrants, the recovery of stolen property, or the seizure of illegal drugs. By encouraging community members to come forward with tips, Crime Stoppers empowers citizens to be an active part of the solution, helping to remove criminals from our streets and making our region a safer place to live, work, shop, and visit. The consistent success of the tournament in these four years has directly contributed to these critical efforts, making tangible impacts on crime prevention and community safety throughout the 13-county East Tennessee area.
